THE RAINBOW BRIDGE
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Hannah
Hannah and Miley came home to live with us in August Here’s a picture of Hannah(darker one) and Miley. They came home to live with us in August/ 2011. They were best friends. Hannah was the leader and Miley the follower and more shy. They slept with me every night until Hannah got sick then wanted to sleep on the floor. Hannah crosses the Rainbow Bridge 7/2/2020. The very next day there was a red cardinal outside my window. I’m sure Hannah was telling me thank you for such a good life and she was happy at our Lords house. 2011. They were best friends. Harley For the love of a dog On Dec 2nd, 2012 I received a call from DDR saying that my application for Harley had been approved and that I could come and meet him. That started a 17 month journey that ended in early May 2014. Harley was my constant companion as I worked and traveled around the oil fields of western ND. He met many new people and made many friends as we provided water for rigs that I service.Harley started to get sick on the 9th of May. I took him to the vet on Saturday the 10th and he was diagnosed with diabetes. A very strong effort was made to stabilize him ,but the night of the 12th he passed away. Harley will be very much missed by the people who knew him and by those of us who loved him. Rest in Peace, Harley! Your dad forever...I will see you at The Rainbow Bridge Charles Rambel Hercules wasn't a dachshund but he was the guardian of the dachshunds. When we brought Joey, our first foster dachshund, home he was in horrible shape and he found great comfort in being by Hercules' side. When Hercules died suddenly we knew we had to do something in his honor, that's how DDR came about . We loved our lab and our dachshunds and Hercules shared his bed, his bowl, his home with any dachshund that came through our door. Our big red dog now wanders the 100 acre woods across the Rainbow Bridge. I know he waits there for us so we can garden, chase rabbits and play as we used to.
