Smiley is adjusting to her life in a foster home with lots of dogs, but she  would be happiest as an "only dachsie girl" in a quiet adult home with a set routine.

Smiley gets along very well, but she very much misses having her own family.  Her owner, who she had been with all her life, had to go to the nursing home.  No one in the family was able to keep Smiley, so she ended up in rescue.  

You may notice that she has a cherry eye, but it has been that way for many years and it does not bother her at all.

Smiley is a very sweet loving girl who adores lap time and loves to sleep on the big bed, but she very much wants to do this with a family of her own.
