Chex was very frightened when he came to us.  He was an owner surrender, but obviously abused as he was afraid of everyone.  He has slowly begun to trust us and will allow both his foster mom and foster dad to hold him now. 

Chex is a wonderful dachsie.  He has just started running out of his kennel in the morning.  He can't wait to run over and get his hugs and kisses to start his day, and this brightens our day - every day!

We will continue to work with and build Chex's trust in us and others so that he will be ready when his forever family finds him.  We know they will, and Chex will flourish!
