Chief came to us from a breeder.  He is really a beautiful boy, and he has warmed to us quickly.

In fact, Chief mastered lap sitting already almost immediately!  He loves to be held, and he is perfectly content to sit with you for hours!

His absolute favorite though is playing ball.  Just check out his video below.  Chief just can't get enough of it!  And if you have a tennis ball with a squaker in it, Chief is in heaven.  He's hit the lottery!

Chief has learned to play nice with the other dachsie males at his foster mom's house, and he gets along well with the ladies, but we think Chief would be happiest living out his days as either the only dog in the family, or perhaps a little dachsie lady to pal around with.  Hint:  He's really sweet on Jilly.  =)

Chief is an awesome dog.  You really should meet him!
