Boo needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping her get a new start?
7/10/2011 Boo is rambuncous as ever. She is more active than her surgeon would like and we are trying to keep her a tad quiet for the next 2 weeks. Boo would love a home of her own....she would be best with no small children(only because of her back surgery) and with another quiet small dog in the house. Can you give Boo her forever home> 6/01/2011 Update...Boo got adopted but came back to us after a week and a half with an acutely ruptured disc and her new family couldn't take care of her. Boo was rushed to Omaha for emergency surgery, she did very well and came home on Monday. She's a tad wobbly and needs some quiet time for 8 weeks before she can be adopted. The surgeon said she should be just fine, she walks on her own and she goes potty just fine, she has an unbelieveable appetite.
Please consider giving Boo a home of her own, she does just fine with other dogs but I feel she would be safest as an only doxie or one that is older and more sedantary. Please keep our Boo in your thoughts and prayers!
Boo came to us from the Humane Society. She and her buddy Cocoa were dropped off and didn't do well in a shelter setting. Boo is a wonderful girl that just wants to be whereever we are. She's not fond of the kennel when we are gone, she runs out and bites the front of the kennel door when we get home. Boo is a sweetie looking for a special home of her own. She does have a heart murmur but it doesn't slow her down. She had a dental and was spay this past week, Dr Paul said she did just fine! Do you have a special lap for Boo to snuggle on? Boo weighs 8.6 pounds. Her adoption fee is $225. More about BooIs Not Good with Dogs, Is Not Good with Kids Other Pictures of Boo (click to see larger version):
