Sam's an awesome guy who ended up in a small town dog pound. No one claimed him so another rescue took him in. Sam is a handsome 4 year old long coat dachshund mix. He is a super sweet boy- very gentle, quiet and loving. Sam likes cats and other dogs. Sam loves people and LOVES belly rubs! He will roll over and wait for someone to pet his tummy! Sam would prefer kids 7 and older. What a character!Sam is neutered, utd shots, dewormed, heartworm tested and had a dental cleaning. His adoption donation is $150. We require an adoption application, references, adoption contract and home visit Sam came to DDR to hang out with the dachshunds. He's a wonderful boy who loves tummy rubs. At his previous rescue's foster home he used a doggie door to go out to potty. Sam will go to the door and let you know he has to potty. He has his degree in potty training. Sam is a tad overweight and would love someone to go for walks with. In fact Sam will walk and walk. If you are looking for a walking companion and a good friend Sam is your boy.
