7-10-2011 Update...Humphrey ended up not being a candidate for a second surgery, the front of his palate was too narrow and Dr Mindy didn't think the surgery would take. Humphrey does just fine drinking out of his rabbit water bottle.

Humphrey would love a home of his own with another dog to play with.

Humphrey is a very playful boy, he loves to give kisses too.
Humphrey was born with a cleft palate, he had surgery March 24th and is still in a recovery period, he'll probably have to go back in 6 or 7 weeks for a second surgery.

Update 12/22/2010  Humphrey's first surgery wasn't a complete success. The front 1.5 inches came loose so he still has a partial cleft palate. Dr Mindy didn't feel a second surgery would hold so we didn't put Humphrey through it.

Humphrey has gained weight nicely, he is now 11 pounds. He still drinks water from a rabbit bottle but he kindof likes it. Every now and again he drinks from the regular water bowl but if it goes down the wrong way he can get pneumonia.

Humphrey is a very loveable, playful happy boy that is very active. He loves being with us and playing with all the doxies.

Can you be Humphrey's forever home? Humphrey's adoption fee is $250.

Humphrey had his surgery and is now rehabilitating at our house. He needs special food to help him put on some weight, his mouth is very sore so he has a tough time eating.
Will you be Humphrey's buddy and help buy him some chicken breast, high calorie canned food, high calorie kibble that I can soften in chicken broth?
