Japanese Chins are known for being alert, independent, intelligent, loving, and loyal. This sweet girl has shown her foster family all these qualities! Though she is always alert to what is going on in her surroundings, Gigi is a quiet girl who loves her naps. Gigi picks up quickly on household routines and has made some progress on leash training. However, this smart girl needs a secure, fenced in yard as she has figured out how to open kennels and is still not completely leash and obedience trained. Occasionally, Gigi enjoys playing gently with soft, plush toys and likes to snuggle up with a soft bed when she is done playing. Gigi can be shy at first, but once she warms up to you, she will be your little shadow and find every opportunity to snuggle with you. Gigi enjoys playing with and snuggling with her canine foster brothers and sister; and enjoys lying next to her feline foster brother.
