Hi! I'm Cappy! I am a very happy go lucky boy, and am very well trained. I get along with most dogs but did not get along with the other male in my house so I had to come to Dakota Dachshund Rescue. I am a big dog in a tiny body, my foster mom has to remind me to be nice and accepting of these dachshunds sometimes...boy are they big compared to me :) I originally came a ranch setting and had to learn to scrap a bit to protect myself, I just need gentle reminders that there is no reason to over react to excitable situations. My foster mom is still getting to know me , she says I have to hang out with her and her pack for a week or two so she knows me better and can help me transition to a new home. Do you understand the Yorkie breed and have a spot next to you on the couch for me to call home?
