Meet Docker! The 14 month old child in the house loved Docker very much but fell on him two separate times in the same week and injured his back. His mom tried medical treatment but he just got worse. They could not afford surgery and they could not keep Docker safe even if he became a cart dog. The family met Izzie to see what a caring for a cart dog was like, the metal post on the back of Izzie's cart were a concern for having the 14 month old fall on it, the cart would be a danger to her and she would be a danger to Docker. The family opted to turn Docker over to DDR, Dr Brent did back surgery on July 1st. Right after surgery Docker had no use of his back legs but with lots of determination and rehab Docker was already walking 6 weeks postop! Docker still has a little rehab left to do but is doing famously and is an avid ballplayer. He has full control back of his bowel and bladder. He sleeps in his kennel at night and is kenneled while I am at work to keep him safe. Can you give Doc his forever home? More about DockerGood with Dogs Video of Docker:
