 Charlie Brown is an amazingly friendly and lovable long-haired dachshund. He recently got his first  haircut so he can be cleaned and checked easily after time outside each day, but that’s not  necessary!

He’s a handsome boy with either long or short hair!
He loves his treats (don’t drop  the peanut butter jar) and is food driven.
Being potty trained he does well being out at home, but he does find his kennel as his safe space and does well with kennel time.
He’s mastered  commands like “sit,” and “kennel up,” and is working on more such as “heel,place, and here.”

He loves being outdoors especially for his walks. You can walk him as many times a day as  possible and he will not turn it down (even in the winter time!)

He was diagnosed with Pes Varus last year which affects the curvature of his rear legs. The only  way to correct this is through surgery, but many pet parents don’t subject their dachshunds to  this extensive surgery and find they live a long healthy life!
He is incredibly gentle but is a little  shy and takes time to relax and feel at home, but this does not stop him! His previous home  worked diligently to work on his leg strength with regular exercises and walks, as well as  maintaining a healthy weight to relieve stress 
Charlie Brown does need another small dog in the house to play with.
