Hi! My name is Mollie! As you can see from my pictures, I have wheels for my back legs! They are my super-duper turbo charged wheels and I can go almost anywhere with them! I do like to scoot on the floor without my wheels but my foster mom won't let me cuz I will get "carpet burn" on my bottom, which doesn't feel good at all, so I am glad that my foster mom makes the rules.
My favorite time is lap time with my foster mom on the couch. I also like to hang out with the other dachchunds in the house. We like to go sniffing in the back yard and lay in the sunshine on the back deck. Another great way to pass my time is look into my foster mom's eyes, and she will almost always give me a belly rub! Kinda tricky on my part...but she falls for my eyes every time!!!
I wish that I could be a little more independent, but my back was broken. I did have surgery but the "past human" in my life wasn't able to do the physical therapy with me, and I became too much to care for. So now I am living with my foster family through DDR.
Sometimes my foster mom has to help me with going potty and poopy, but I try real hard to hold it as long as I can! She says that even though I have special needs that I really don't require that much extra attention. Thank goodness for special humans who will take care of us special dogs! Are you somebody special too? If so, I would love to have a forever home!
