Hi! I'm Midge. I came to Dakota Dachshund Rescue to learn to live life as a house pet. Living in a home is an all new experience for me so I am just working on house manners, house training, wearing a harness and walking on a leash. A fenced yard is a must for me. I do have dry eye so my vision is limited. I am currently on lubricating ointment to help as well as moisturizing eye drops to help my eyes. I do well with adult dogs but puppies and fast moving/active dogs get me nervous so I have been known to go after them....my eyesight causes issues with fast moving things. Do you have a spot for a sweet girl that will follow you everywhere and snuggle on the couch when you sit with me?
