Annie is a very beautiful piebald girl. She loves to be loved already and she just arrived. A family of her own is just what she needs so she can gain the confidence to really show her doxie stuff. Although Annie is very social in a fenced area and humans sitting in the grass...she's a typical puppymill dachshund that the sight and sounds scare the bejesus out of her...the sound of a truck going by, anything she is not used to! Annie is a wonderful girl that once she adjusts to life outside the puppymill, will be an awesome pet for a very lucky home. Annie just needs some time to adjust to new things such as city noises, a leash and a collar and being picked up by someone who loves her. Would you consider being Annie's sponsor while she adjusts to life outside the mill? More about AnnieGood with Dogs Special Needs: For all you thinking of adopting or even fostering a pet that requires a fence..here is a suggestion: I have garden fence I purchased for $35 for 50ft. (I bought 2) and some electric fence posts. This hold all of my dogs in and is more than sufficient to hold them. It runs off my deck and against my house, giving them more than enough room to run (as I currently have 6). If you only have one..they really only need enough to go out an potty and keep them from running as some are door dashers..
