Cocoa originally came to us from a shelter in Minnesota.  Then she tried on a new home for size, but she did not get along with one of the other female dachshunds in the house, so she came back to try again.

She is very sweet - a little timid at first - but it doesn't take long at all for her to show off how sweet she is.  Cocoa really is one beautiful girl!  These pictures just do not do her justice.  You really have to see her in person!

Cocoa would do well as an only dog or with another dog who has less of an alpha personality.  She does well with most of the fosters dachshunds in the house, but every now and again, she isn't afraid to assert herself!

She would love to snuggle right into your heart.  You have room, right?
